A rare, limited edition tote bag by Berlin designer Frank Leder
Frank is a great friend and a unique fashion designer, just as single-minded and devoted to quality and attention to detail as we are. We have spoken about a collaboration for a long time and here is the result of our combined efforts:
The Frank Leder + Fool Tote bag, handmade in Germany using Japanese Denim.
Selvedge indigo-dyed 16 oz. weight denim fabric, woven on old weaving chairs by Kuroki, Okayama, Japan.
Deadstock band from an Austrian traditional band weaving company based in Styria.
This bag was developed in the Frank Leder studio, sewn and hand-finished in Brandenburg, just outside the gates of Berlin.
The four copper rivets were hand-hammered by Frank himself to finish each bag.
Sized 43x19x35 it is perfect for stacking 1/3 gastronorm containers (176x325mm) or whatever you buy from your market. We added a holder to keep your wine bottle upright, plus three smaller internal pockets and one custom made to fit Fool #8 Japan. Or laptop.
This bag will only get more beautiful with age and use.
